[Watch again] ECOSYSTEX Insight Series #7

On 9 February, for the seventh edition of the ECOSYSTEX Insights Series dissemination webinar, ECOSYSTEX welcomed the Circular Bio-Based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE-JU) project officer Simone Maccaferri, and our three active member projects that focus on bio-based materials.

The CBE-JU presented their funding opportunities for circular & biobased textiles topics in 2024. The FIBSUN project introduced their project, which will explore novel fibre value chains and ecosystem services derived from sustainable feedstocks. The Bio-LUSH project showcased how they will approach innovation in biomass conversion to nano-fibres for the development of eco-friendly materials. Finally, the Glaukos project discussed recent achievements on biobased coatings for the clothing and fishing industry.

If you could not join us for this event or if you want to watch it again, the recording and presentations are available here:

About the ECOSYSTEX Insight Series
One of ECOSYSTEX's objectives is organising dissemination activities like the Insights Series. It provides its member projects with the opportunity to inform an interested expert public about the latest results of EU research and innovation projects addressing textile sustainability and circularity. Member projects can introduce themselves to experts in and outside the Community and share recent developments or milestones. ECOSYSTEX, the European Community of Practice for a Sustainable Textile Ecosystem was founded in early 2023 from within the CISUTAC project and is managed by Textile ETP.
