Dear All,

We are delighted to invite you to the Lowlands Greentex Hub Meetup, scheduled for January 23rd and 24th at Tourcoing.

The Lowlands Greentex hub uniquely unites organizations from EastNl, Flanders, and Hauts de France. The primary goal is to unlock the potential of cross-regional collaboration for circularity in the textile industry.

Event Details:

Day 1 - January 23rd (Open for Visitors)

Part 1: Open to Visitors & Project Partners

• 13:00: Welcome at EuraMaterials site in Tourcoing

• 13:30-14:00: Start

  • Intro to EuraMaterials activities

  • Insight into the regional ecosystem in Hauts de France

• 14:00-14:45: Update Presentation of the different Regional Cases (Project goals, current gaps, needs, challenges, and lessons learned)

  • Flanders: End-of-life solutions for Post Consumer Waste Blends (Quest & Ecoso)

  • East-Nl: Post Consumer Waste Blends for recycling

  • Hauts-de-France: Protective garments (colored) and aramids (Dumortier and Textile de la Thiérache)

• 14:45-15:10: Brief introductions from external invited partners (regional partners interested in exploring collaborations)

• 15:15-16:00: Workshop: Bridging the (value chain) gaps

  • Interactive sessions to connect and exchange knowledge based on the Challenges/Value Chain Gaps (2x 15 min + conclusions)

  • 2 Circulating tables

• 16:00: Departure by bus to Dumortier

• 16:15: Visit Peignage Dumortier with the presentation of activities

• 17:30: Return to EuraMaterials

Part 2: for project partners

• 18:00: Departure to hotels

• 19:30: Lille tour

• 20:30: Dinner in Lille

Day 2 - January 24th (Only for Project Partners)

• 9:00: Departure from EuraMaterials Tourcoing by Bus (1h45)

• 11:00: Visit Spinning Mill Textile De La Thiérache

• 12:30: Lunch in Trélon

• 14:00: Return/Back to EuraMaterials at 15:30

• Optional 16:00: Visit CETI: European Center for Innovative Textiles
